What is Digga Wellness?

Digga Wellness is a FREE & CONFIDENTIAL Employee Assistance Program (EAP), focused on supporting employees and their family members to improve their mental health and wellbeing. There are a range of support services available to help people thrive in work and in life, whether that involves seeking professional help, engaging in physical activity and nutrition, or connecting with others in a support network.

If you’re feeling stressed, having sleep problems, or worrying about your budget, connect with the ‘TELUS Health’ Telehealth service confidentially on 1300 361 008, or speak with a qualified counselor through the chat function on the TELUS Health One app, provided by TELUS Health. It is important to note that although these counselling sessions can be very helpful, they must not be used as a replacement for on-going treatment for a mental health condition.

TELUS Health One program – Employee T&Cs

These terms and conditions outline the agreement between Digga Australia (the “Employer”) and its employees who use the TELUS Health One program (the “Program”). By accessing or using the Program, you (the “Employee”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Eligibility: The Program is available to all current employees of the Employer who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Employer.
  2. Purpose: The Program is intended to provide employees with access to resources and tools that support their well-being, including mental health, physical health, and financial wellness.
  3. Confidentiality: The Employee’s use of the Program and any information shared in the Program is confidential and will not be shared with the Employer, except as required by law. The Program provider will not disclose any information without the Employee’s express permission, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is an immediate risk of harm to the Employee or others.
  4. Use of Program: The Employee is responsible for ensuring that their use of the Program is consistent with these terms and conditions, as well as any other policies and guidelines set by the Employer or the Program provider. The Employee is responsible for their own safety and well-being when using the Program.
  5. TELUS Health One is a telehealth platform that provides access to licensed mental health professionals and related services. While TELUS Health One can be a valuable tool for individuals seeking support and guidance, it is important to note that it is not intended to replace ongoing counseling sessions with a licensed mental health professional. The Employee must understand that TELUS Health One is not a substitute for a therapist or counselor, and it is not designed to provide long-term mental health care. By using TELUS Health One, the Employee acknowledges and agrees that it is not intended to replace ongoing counseling sessions or other forms of mental health care, and that the Employee is solely responsible for seeking out any additional care or support that the Employee may need.
  6. Terms of use: Each Employee is entitled to a maximum of six (6) sessions counselling per category of service, per year. If an Employee requires additional sessions beyond this limit, they may be referred to an appropriate provider outside of the program.
  7. Disclaimer of Liability: The Employer and the Program provider are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of the Program. The Employee acknowledges that they are using the Program voluntarily and at their own risk.
  8. Intellectual Property: All content provided through the Program is owned by the Program provider and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Employee may only use the content for personal, non-commercial use.
  9. Termination: The Employer may terminate an Employee’s access to the Program at any time, with or without cause.
  10. Modification: The Employer reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time, without notice.
  11. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with those laws.
  12. Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Employer and the Employee regarding the use of the Program and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
  13. Counseling Sessions: The Program offers counseling services to Employees, with a limit of six (6) sessions per topic. Counseling sessions may be conducted in-person, over the phone, or online. The Employee is responsible for scheduling their counseling sessions directly with the Program provider. The Employer and the Program provider are not responsible for the outcome of any counseling sessions, and the Employee acknowledges that they are using the counseling services voluntarily and at their own risk.

By using the Program, the Employee acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
